Overview

Design and fabrication of a 3,000m² multi-purpose workshop for mining operations, incorporating 10 tonne overhead gantry cranes, mezzanine, service pits and full-length cantilever canopies.

Scope of Work

This large-scale multi-purpose facility covered over 3,000m² and required a wide range of performance solutions including Fire Safety systems, Mezzanine systems, service pit design, Overhead Crane Load design, and complex steelwork connections. NWSM delivered this structure on time and on budget, meeting all design requirements and exceeding standards.

Project Highlights

NWSM designed and fabricated a large-scale multi-purpose Workshop Facility to support mining operations for Rangecon. The building comprised a footprint of over 3,000m² encompassing 10 Tonne Overhead Gantry Cranes, a compliant Mezzanine area, Service Pits, an Internal Division Wall with Sliding Doors separating work areas, and 5m wide overhanging Cantilever Canopies the full length of the building providing protection across 15 Roller Door access points.
